Hello, I'm Murat Dalgic.
I am an independent waterproofing consultant who identifies water and insulation problems in buildings on site, assesses them technically, and provides practical, lasting solutions.
I have been working in construction and building materials since 2008. My career began supervising waterproofing applications on construction sites; I then moved into technical sales and project development on the manufacturer side. For many years I worked at Weber Turkey (a Saint-Gobain company), specialising in waterproofing and flooring systems. That experience gave me the ability to read both the technical and commercial dimensions of the industry at the same time.
I have also served as a technical trainer for IZODER — Turkey's national insulation industry association — carrying out compliance audits and delivering training to various institutions.
Today I work entirely independently. Because the place where water appears is not always where water enters, the correct solution begins with understanding the problem first, then specifying the right system and the critical details for that particular building. Every project is approached from a purely technical standpoint, free from any brand, product or applicator affiliation.
Waterproofing is only as strong as its weakest detail.
My approach
Yes. The site inspection and written report are charged at a fixed fee; the fee is confirmed before any appointment is made. Where an application is subsequently commissioned, the treatment of this fee against the overall cost is clarified at the meeting.
Yes. Investigation and reporting is an independent service; there is no obligation to commission any application. The work specified in the report may be carried out by any contractor of your choice.
In most cases, yes. The path taken by the water is read from the building element cross-section and the pattern of staining; moisture measurement and controlled flood testing are used where needed. Opening up is always a last resort and is not started until the location has been narrowed down.
This question cannot be answered without an investigation. The stain may originate from the wet room of the flat above, from a common service, from the facade or from the roof. The answer to the question of liability depends on which building element is the source; this is why an independent report matters.
The report can be used as technical evidence in disputes between parties and may be submitted to the file by lawyers. However, a court-appointed expert's report is a separate process; this service covers party technical consultancy.
Yes. The items in the quotation, the products specified and the quantities are reviewed, and any items that are missing or unnecessary are identified. This service is particularly useful for apartment and site management boards before a decision is made.
It does when correctly applied, but the saving depends on the current condition of the building, the insulation board thickness used and the state of the windows. Where insulation is cut short at window reveals or fixings are inadequate, the expected saving will not be achieved.
No. Independent investigation, reporting and party technical consultancy is provided only for thermal and waterproofing insulation. For floor coatings, concrete repair and structural strengthening, the service covers technical specification and application supervision only.
On a project basis, yes. Projects in other provinces are considered where travel and accommodation costs are covered. Simply state the province and district on the request form.
Enquiries received by phone or via the request form are replied to the same day, or by the next working day at the latest. In Cekmekoy and surrounding districts, a site inspection can usually be arranged within a few days.
